I (Crabb) have been riding since I was 17 years old (41 now). I learned to ride on a friend's harDley, yes thats right harDley. It was a chopped out harley frame, coffin gas tank and a honda motor. Finally bought my own Harley in 1991, a 1987 sportster at age 23 and still ride it today. The1992 Electra Glide that pulls the hearse was purchased in June of 2005 and converted to a trike in January of 2006.
After going to several friends' funerals I came up with this idea to send a fallen loved one out the way they lived.....with a motorcycle!
And Black Diamond Motorcycle Hearse Service was created. This hearse was hand crafted by Kenny "Krazylegs" Rosati and me, Garland "Crabb" Crabb We started this project in August of 2004 working every Saturday we could (between our regular jobs) and finished in October 2005. After a minor infraction (accident) at the end of October, we finally put the hearse into service January 2006. We were called for our first funeral in April 2006.
